Devo (4U)

The Devos program is designed to provide young children (3 & 4 year olds) with a positive introduction to both skating and the basic fundamentals of hockey. With one practice per week, typically on Saturday mornings, the objective is to help new players become comfortable on the ice while developing the basic skills needed to be independent skaters. Practices typically include fun games and age-appropriate drills designed to keep players engaged and excited including torpedo, dodgeball, and sharks and minnows. Most importantly, the Devos level is about creating and encouraging a love of the game while building players’ confidence and ensuring that each child leaves the ice thinking, “Fun, fun, fun!”
