Steps to ensure your success:

1. Register with USA Hockey as an official - this is separate from your registration as a player or coach - and pay your registration fees
2. Register and COMPLETE a Virtual Seminar - since these are virtual, you may select a state other than Wisconsin. The training is the same.
3. Register with the Wisconsin Hockey Officials Association
4. Complete SafeSport (if born before 2007) and a background check (if over 18 on 6/1/24) as needed
5. Apply with SHAW to work as an Official for the season

SHAW utilizes the Assignr program to assign games to officials and for most game related communications

It is expected that officials will be willing to download the mobile phone app to get notifications
