Youth Hockey
SHAW’S On Ice Objectives
- Promote and grow the game of hockey

- Develop each individual skater through age-appropriate drills following USA Hockey ADM model
- Development and improvement is winning- not just state championships
- Support and develop the best on ice and off ice coaches
Hockey should be a fun & enjoyable family experience; we all play a role in making this possible - parents, coaches, players, extended family members and board members.
Ages
We field teams in every age level from 4U Devos to 18U High School and everything in-between.
When
Depending on the Age level our season starts in Early September and goes through March.
Where
Most practices and home games are held at Wilson Park Ice Area. Games may be played across the metro region.
Practices
Based on age/team we players can expect anywhere from 1-3 ice session a week on average.
Games
Based on age/team players can expect anywhere from 1-3 games per week on average.

Ice Chips - $500
6U/Mini’s - $825
8U/Mites - $925
10U/Squirt - $1,600*
12U/PeeWee - $1,650*
14U/Bantam - $1,750*
16U & 18U/JV & HS - $2,375*
*Prices shown here are the standard, non-discounted ice fees.
Sign up by June 3rd for a $100 discount on Squirt, PeeWee, Bantam, and High School registrations.
Sign up by June 3rd for a $300 discount on Girls Squirt, Girls PeeWee, or Girls Bantam.
Important: If we do not receive enough registrations for the Girls Squirt team this year, players will be placed on the CO-ED team and registrations fees will be adjusted to reflect a $100 (instead of $300) discount.
Extra Costs
Team managers and coaches will cordinate additional fees based on what tournaments your respective team signs up for.
Fundraiser
Opportunities are available throughout the season to reduce your ice fees through fundraisers, Scrip program, and working Brewer concession. Please see the For Parents section under the Resources button at the top of the page.

2025-2026 Youth Hockey
Early registration for the 2025-2026 SHAW Youth Hockey season is now open!
Special discounts are available for certain groups during the early registration period, May 19 - June 3. Your early registration must be submitted by the end of day on June 3 (11:59 pm).
