10,000 Shot Club Season Kick-Off

I’m excited to announce the return of a great player development opportunity for the 2026–2027 hockey season: the 10,000 Shot Challenge!

The 10,000 Shot Challenge is an easy, effective way for SHAW players to build their shooting power, accuracy, and overall on-ice skills outside the rink. For skaters who participate, the goal is simple: shoot 10,000 pucks on your own time (outside of team practices) throughout the season (October through March). That comes out to roughly 50–60 shots a day—a quick routine that builds serious muscle memory over time.

Key Details:

• Cost: Completely free for all SHAW players.

• Reward: Every skater who completes all 10,000 shots will receive an exclusive challenge t-shirt.

• Eligibility: Open to all registered SHAW players across all age levels.

Consistent off-ice shooting makes a noticeable difference once players step onto the ice, and I hope as many skaters as possible take advantage of this challenge. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
