Gear Rental - August 31st 4:30 - 6PM at Wilson Ice Arena

We are very excited for another year of our equipment rental program for SHAW skaters! This program is designed to assist younger players (8U and under) in experiencing the great game of hockey by renting gear at an affordable cost for the duration of the season. New this year, skates will be included (up to a size 5) due to a generous donation SHAW received.

The cost for this program is $50 with a $300 deposit in the form of a post-dated check which will be destroyed upon returning of equipment. Any equipment that is not returned or damaged beyond normal wear and tear will be charged towards your deposit. All equipment is new or has been professionally cleaned and sanitized.  

Please plan to bring two checks if you’re interested in renting gear (one for the $50 fee and the other for the $300 deposit post dated for 5/1/27).

Helmet 

Shoulder pads/ chest protector

Elbow pads

Gloves

Brezzers/ pants

Shin guards

Carrying Bag

Skates (select sizes)

Personal items not included: 

Neck guard

Protective cup

Mouth guard

The gear fitting and distribution date will be Monday, August 31st from 4:30-6:00pm at Wilson Ice Rink. Gear will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. Supplies are limited (about 25 sets). We have youth small, medium and large sizes (3 feet to about 4 feet tall) which typically fit 8U skaters and under.
